Stuffed Meatloaf Roll


This meatloaf is bursting with flavor and is sure to please your whole family. This recipe will become your family's favorite recipe and everyone will be wanting more.

* Ingredients:

° 1 c. tablespoon butter
° 1/2 onion, chopped
° 2 garlic cloves, chopped
° 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
° 1 1/2 cups baby spinach, chopped
° 1 cup of Gruyère (Emmenthal, strong Cheddar or other)

° 1 lb ground beef
° 2 Italian sausages
° 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
° 1/4 cup ketchup
° 1 egg, beaten
° 2 c. chopped fresh parsley
° 1 c. fresh thyme
° 1/2 c. 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
° Salt and pepper, to taste

* Preparation:

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and brown the onion in it.
Add the garlic, mushrooms and spinach, sauté until the water from the mushrooms has evaporated.
Take from  heat, join cheese and stirring until dissolved. Reserve.
Blend  meatloaf ingredients very well . Put half of the meat in the bottom of a loaf pan, making sure to make a long cavity in the center of the meat.
Spread the filling in the center of the cavity, and cover with the rest of the meat.
Put in the oven at 325 ° about 1 hour.
Waiting at least ten minutes before slicing .
